HEIKE TASCHNER JESKE
There is something energetically compelling when a piece of art finds its space. Heike’s focus is to mould and morph elements and material, including empty spaces and unseen potential into one final, authentic expression. Emotion, movement and fluidity are an eternal component in her artwork. She grew up on Ludwig’s Rose Farm and nature, especially flowers, inspire her.
She studied Fine Art and received a cum laude BTech in Interior Architecture, then dedicated her time to the farm restaurant and rose food development. After 13 years of rose business, she took up a studio at Dionysus Sculpture Works in 2021 and enjoys the conversation and discourse amongst the artists there. She now dedicates her time to her calling and gift – art.
Being an artist allows her to express her creative journey that she supressed for many years; to analyse and process life’s experiences and to encourage the onlooker to connect; possibly to their own authenticity; bewilderment; to provoke thought and emotion. She finds inspiration in continuously exploring the past and present artists by joining lectures and classes from all over the world. She journals; writes and rhymes and transforms these impressions. Making art makes her feel connected to the creative vein; a transparent, unlimited source from which one draws borderless creativity into this 3D world. She is hard working; dedicated to expanding and creating and often uses mixed media; unafraid of exploring all art forms and styles.
